On the outside...

A normal, small-sized barbershop, located in the Entertainment District just by the park. Men and women, children and adults welcome! Mainly visited by the middle and upper classes in late morning/day time and lower class in the late afternoon. It's never really crowded but never really empty either, at any time of the day there's always at least one patron inside.

Behind the closed doors...

The Swallowtail is a small, independent gambling organization that has been in Arden Grove for a while. Although they're not connected to the White Lilies, both organizations do work together from time to time. It might be called a "gambling" organization, but The Swallowtail doesn't have a casino or something similar. Rather, they gamble on real life events and tournaments without a fixed schedule—for example, for the Civil War, they were betting whether the government or the White Lilies would win.

The only way you can get access to gambling here is by saying a certain keyword to one of the workers, then you will be given information about their next 'event.' All bets are masked using magic, and no one (not even the organizers) knows who places which bet until the results are out.

Talbert "Teddy." Owner of this barbershop, looks about 50 years old. Big guy with grizzly bear features (ears, tails, sharper nails), is called "Teddy" due to, well, bear features and how friendly he is. Lightning fast when he cuts hair, every time he's asked if he uses his bear nails or not, he just laughs...

Mischa. One of the longest working barber here. Actually mid-40 but still looks like she's in her early 30s or even late 20s. Extremely cheerful and always!!! talks!!!! with exclamation points!!!!! Has rabbit features (ears and tail), probably why she's so bouncy all the time? She's known to talk a lot with the patrons and can be annoying at times, but generally liked because she's easy to talk to. Does amazing head massages on top of sick hairdressing abilities.

Edward. Has worked here for a bit over a year. An average-built guy who's very silent and looks like he's in his late 20s. Has wolf features (ears, tail, sharpened teeth). Rumors have it that he can only speak a certain number of words per week, else something bad will happen... His Talent is growing people's hair to up to 10 cm, so don't worry if your hair got cut too much when he's around?!

PCs
Konoha Akinori. 18 years old, fox features (ears, tail, orange/red eyes). The only part-timer here; works 3-4 days a week and mainly has afternoon shifts. Good socializing skills, likes to listen to patrons talking and gossiping as much as he likes cutting people's hair.

Additional notes:

- They work in shifts, and there's usually 3 people working at the same time, 2 if there's not too many people.
- As of right now, the ones who know about their "side business" are Teddy and Misha. Both or either one of them is always present in the barbershop in case their patrons aren't only there to get a trim.
- There are other people who work solely for the gambling business, some of them sometimes show up in the barbershop as businessmen, plumbers, etc.
